| The running of the Bird of Prey Centre is a costly business and you may
be surprised to learn that we do not receive grants from larger bodies, nor are we
government aided. We are often asked how visitors can help in our work - the obvious
answer being "awareness". However, many people wish to do more and we have
devised our adoption scheme for this purpose. If you would like to adopt one of our birds, in return for your adoption fee your name will be inscribed on a plaque on the adopted species enclosure and you will receive a certificate showing the name of your adopted bird. The fee covers the cost of the bird's food for one year. The bird you adopt will remain at all times in the care and ownership of the Bird of Prey centre.
